Summer Youth Programs
Youth Camps are designed to encourage confident communication skills and character development while generating creative mindsets through resourceful thinking skills and nature. Our indoor classroom will consist of a western style 30-ft canvas walled tent with breathtaking views of the continental divide.

A one week camp designed for the wild girl at heart to spread her wings! Daily activities follow a multi-faceted curriculum intertwining the creative arts with horse education and yoga.
Each day will have a creative art project designed to teach a variety of creative thinking skills. Workshops will teach artists how to construct art both wearable and decorative with minimal resources.
Horse instruction will build cowgirl confidence by learning basic horse communication skills. They will put their communication skills to use from the ground learning to pet, brush and lead their horse.
Each day we will start and end with group sharing & yoga. Yoga are a combination of music, stretching and sharing is structured to establish a comfortable environment for self-expression and acceptance.
Enrollment Brackets: Minimum 6/Maximum 12
- $425 Early Early Bird Enrollment — Sept 1st-Oct 31st
- $450 Early Bird Enrollment — Nov 1st-Feb 28th
- $475 Regular Enrollment — March 1st-May 31st
- $550 Late Registration — June 1st-June 12th

What to Bring Daily?
Riding helmets (riding, bike, ski or skate), long pants, hardy shoes or boots, sun hat, rain coat, sunscreen, water bottle and lunch. Light snacks and water will be provided on site.
Camp Terms and Conditions
The customer shall pay a non-refundable deposit in the sum of $150.oo of the total amount due for each student named in the reservation.
The balance is due not less than 4 weeks prior to the date camp start date. If you book in the last 4 weeks, it must be paid in full at time of booking.
If final balance payment is not received by the first date of camp, HER reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.
In the event of cancellation by the customer, regardless of the circumstances, the following refund fees, minus the deposit, apply. The deposit is non-refundable, mentioned above.
- 0% refund- cancellation 4 weeks or less before 1st date of retreat
- 25% refund- cancellation 5 weeks before 1st date of retreat
- 50% refund- cancellation 5 to 8 weeks before 1st date of retreat
- 100% refund- cancellation more than 8 weeks before 1st date of retreat
Due to teacher cancellations or other situations beyond our control, HER reserves the right to change bookings and shall inform the customer as soon as possible. Alternative arrangements will be offered but we do not accept responsibility for any costs incurred, including airfare. HER is not held liable for flight costs. HER reserves the right to offer discretionary discounts and this does not affect the status of any guests who have paid the full price and no discount will then become due to them.
Abbey Arabie teaches yoga using a combination of expansive flows with mudras and grounding asanas embracing stillness. Her intensive horsemanship trainings under Cathy Samuelson created a bridge into her spiritual and asana studies. She believes the relationship with a horse deepens the pranayama, giving us the ability to tear down internal and external obstacles. Abbey teaches from the heart, her true passion is to guide, awaken, and enhance her students’ personal journeys through life using yoga, horses, nature and art.
Lindsey England has over a decade of experience working with children of all ages in varying capacities, Lindsey England finds passion in her calling to teach. Since relocating from the Fraser Valley to Fort Collins 2 years ago, Lindsey still places importance on the fundamental values of community building through the arts; students in her classes can expect to learn about the importance of artistic expression, but also of community service, environmental advocacy, cultural diversity and social awareness.
Cathy Samuelson is a animal lover and energy specialist that provides horse clinics that suit the needs of any level rider. Her education with horses started as a young child and has continued into her career as owner of Samuelson Outfitters LLC. Currently she cares for 30+ horses and with all of her love and expertise she enjoys sharing each of their individual characteristics with her students. As a certified Healing Touch Level 1 and 11 with animals, her teachings provide you with a beautiful blend of horse education, communication and riding skills. Her lessons radiate with her calling to work with animals, nature, and hard work that your will walk away learning more that you could have imagined.
